The Titus Welliver (Bosch) Interview

Both last week and this one seem to be very productive ones for me. One of last week’s highlights was the interview with Titus Welliver, the lead of the Bosch series, an Amazon Prime show.

When I heard there would be a possibility to interview Titus, I grabbed my cameraman Ali and we went for it without hesitation. We were lucky enough to meet some very lovely people and a very relaxed and funny Titus, ready to have a proper chat about the 2nd Season of his TV show, Bosch.

For those of you who do not know that much about the show, Bosch introduces viewers to the roguish, yet deeply human Harry Bosch – a detective who lives by his own code.

Expanding upon the successful Bosch_104_06541.CR2novels by Michael Connelly, in Season 2, the show explores aspects of Bosch’s character that Season 1 touched on. Because of his lone-wolf nature, Season 2 finds Bosch on a path of rediscovery. With his career in question, he is closer with his daughter but removed from his former life. This all changes when a new murder calls him back into action, challenging him to juggle the many facets of his life again. In the face of a new case, who is Bosch now as a detective? An ex-husband? A father? In this season, customers are given a closer and deeper look at the ‘man behind the badge’.

Based on the Michael Connelly book series, season 2 takes much of its story from the novel Trunk Music.

I am certain Titus, with his very charming wit, has convinced you to look properly into this by now, but just to play it safe, here’s the Season 2 trailer:
